As a Manufacturing Consulting Director, you will provide expertise in engineering and manufacturing, and create digital solutions for the client to improve their management and operation. You will be based in our Ho Chi Minh office.


Job Description

  • Work in teams of consultants providing expertise in engineering and manufacturing, helping clients to achieve new performance
  • Understand critical issues of the client’s manufacturing process and create digital solutions for the client to improve their management and operation.
  • Provide guidance, and expertise to monitor, track, document, and control manufacturing process, help clients improve plant production
  • Consult clients to meet the best quality with specific management techniques: ISO 9000, TQM, Six Sigma
  • Help clients improve the current process to reach higher performance and efficiency
  • Drive change from shop floor improvements to fundamental changes in work processes, and information and material flow.
  • Drive executive meeting to consult overall digital program for manufacturing company, balance financial investment with human resources, machine, equipment, training program
  • Maintaining corresponding roadmaps considering internal and external best practices and benchmarks, investment levels, process design, change management, and KPIs required to optimize business value
  • Understanding how to engage different stakeholders in setting goals and strategies. Plans targeted stakeholder communications
  • Training internal teams to use digital technologies in manufacturing
  • Building network with internal & external experts, suppliers & stakeholders

Experience Requirements

  • +10 years of Management/Technology Consulting experience with solid exposure to Manufacturing
  • Experience in building and managing production floors with the latest technologies
  • Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, MES, SCADA, Quality systems, Business intelligence, etc.)
  • Comprehend how a manufacturing company operates, especially in relation to enterprise application functions, such as (Production Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Automation, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Digital Manufacturing, Connected Products, Manufacturing IT/MoM systems, automation, digital transformation, performance improvement, operational restructuring, and cost reduction
  • Having knowledge of system-level lean transformation tools is a plus, such as Kaizen methods, TPM, TQM, policy deployment, JIT, Kanban, SMED, 5S, etc
  • Ability to have high-impact conversations with Manufacturing and Supply chain leaders and strong ability to contribute at the intersection of technology and business
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and open new opportunities
  • Strong ability to contribute at the intersection of technology and business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high commitment to quality client service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to motivate and lead a team with enthusiasm, drive, and effectiveness

After the aptitude interview, you will enter the last interview with our HR & operation leaders to test your interaction skill and your suitability to fit in the organization.
